What Catnip AI is
Catnip AI turns a normal photo into something your friends can mess with. Someone posts a group photo, everyone else adds to it, changes it, ruins it, and the whole thing goes round the group chat.
Your job is getting your campus to try it. Not by handing out flyers, but by bringing it into rooms you're already in.
Download it and play with it before your call. You'll be a much better ambassador if you already have opinions about it.
What you'll do each week
Four deliverables, every week, for eight weeks.
Two sponsored integrations
Bring Catnip AI into something that's already happening. You are not throwing an event. You're adding five minutes to one.
- Chapter meetings, sorority or fraternity
- Club and org meetings, dance teams, club sports, cultural orgs, business frats
- Philanthropy events and fundraisers
- Tailgates and pregames
- Dorm floor nights and residence hall programming
- Formals, date parties, and getting ready before them
Get a group to open the app together and do one thing with a real photo of themselves. Ten people in a room beats a hundred people walking past.
One tabling activation
Set up on a high-traffic walkway and run something people stop for. We send you the activation each week. Past examples:
- Put your crush next to you and see if you look good together
- Rate my roommate's fit, with the roommate standing right there
- Beat the rival, during rivalry week
The table is a game, not a stall. If nobody's laughing, it isn't working.
One piece of content
One video to your own account, your own audience. Filmed on your phone, in your voice. We send you the format each week but never a script.
One weekly report
Log what you ran, where, roughly how many people, and anything that worked better than expected. Takes five minutes. This is how we know what to scale.
Across the program: 16 integrations, 8 tabling activations, 8 pieces of content.
How we track your installs
You get your own QR code and tracked link. Every install that comes through it is credited to you automatically.
This matters because your bonus money is tied to it. Use your own code at every single activation.
If someone downloads the app because of you and doesn't scan your code, you don't get paid for it.
What you get paid
For the eight weeks, for hitting your weekly deliverables.
Every week there's a challenge with prize money attached. Most installs, best piece of content, biggest single activation, plus seasonal ones around Halloween and rivalry weekends.
Ambassadors who compete in the challenges typically finish closer to $1,200. The ones who do the minimum finish at $400.
The difference between those two numbers is entirely in your hands.
What's happening on campus while you run this
The program is built around moments that already exist. You're not inventing occasions, you're showing up to the ones on the calendar.
- Weeks 1–2 · mid to late OctoberHalloween costume decisions. The biggest window of the whole program. People start choosing outfits two weeks out, and that decision is the entire product.
- Oct 31Halloween itself. Parties, group costumes, and on most campuses a home game the same day.
- NovemberHome games, basketball season opening, formals, Friendsgiving and philanthropy season.
- Late NovemberRivalry weekend. The single most competitive photo moment of the year.
You'll get a campus-specific calendar with real dates before you start.
What we need from you
non-negotiable
- Instagram and TikTok public for the duration of the program. It's how we see your content.
- Active in at least one campus organisation. A chapter, a club, a team, a society. The bigger, and the more of them, the better.
- 4 to 6 hours a week. Most of it happens at things you were going to anyway.
- One short check-in call a week with your campus manager.
We don't care about your follower count. We care about the size of the rooms you can get us into.
Do
- Use real photos of real friends
- Run integrations in rooms where people already know each other
- Film reactions, not screens. The funny part is the faces
- Post in your own voice. Your audience follows you, not us
- Scan your own QR at every activation
- Tell us when something flops. More useful than a win
Don't
- Post anything you'd be embarrassed by in a year
- Run activations that rank or rate people by looks
- Use someone's photo without asking them
- Buy followers or engagement. We check
- Go quiet. If midterms hit, tell us and we'll work around it
